Bob Soudan Jr.

Since 1989, Mr. Soudan has concentrated on spearheading both development and re-development efforts for BRB Development. Under his stewardship, the company’s portfolio has more than tripled in size and expanded its operating footprint to include multiple l ocations in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Hawaii and Minnesota. During his tenure in charge of development, BRB Development has developed over 40 new projects encompassing over 2.5M net rentable square feet of storage space. Mr. Soudan is primarily responsible for new site acquisitions, the jurisdictional approval process and all architectural and design components of new facilities during the construction process. He also spearheads the expansion and redevelopment efforts of existing portfolio facilities to keep the older, core facilities of the portfolio in a position of revenue leadership within their marketplace. During his tenure with the company, Mr. Soudan has also been active within the Self Storage Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Central Region and was Chairman of the SSA Convention in 1999. Bob graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees ineconomics and philosophy.
